The Ibanez AWS1000ECE is a cutaway electro acoustic featuring a solid sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides.
Solid woods provide greater resonance than laminated woods. That's why AWS1000ECE features solid mahogany back and sides and Multi Wood Binding gives a luxurious look.
With its construction and bracing, AWS1000ECE sound is more well-balanced than that of conventional all solid dreadnought (as shown in graph / actual results may vary from examples shown above).
The AWS1000ECE is equipped with B-Band Preamp and UST Pickup. In addition to the 1/4" output jack, a balanced XLR jack is equipped for direct connection to PA. AA battery operation would avoid the risk you cannot find replacement battery.
